-This allows you to connect longer distance fiber cables between two devices that are designed only for shorter distance Cat. 5 twisted pair cable.
-The DMC-1910R converts 10/100Mbps 10BASE-T-100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet twisted pair signals to 100BASE-FX single-mode signals up to 15 km apart.
-This media converter supports maximum 15 km fiber cable distance.

SNMP Management Module for DMC-1000 D-Link DMC-1002

This module provides web-based and SNMP-based management of all media converters and power supply modules installed in the DMC-1000 chassis. It has a 32bits, RISC microprocessor running high performance real-time operating system. It provides a 10 / 100Mbps Ethernet port for network connection, allowing you to configure and control the system through an SNMP management station or a PC with a web browser. An RS-232 port is also provided to connect to a console (PC) to set the configuration.
